Surf & Yoga Arugam Bay is a place where you can explore your meditative state and enjoy deep relaxation through yoga sessions tailored to your individual needs. Our experienced teachers are also happy to challenge and elevate your practice if you are an experienced yogi.

Our yoga programme is designed for everyone – from complete beginners to advanced practitioners – so you can feel comfortable stepping onto the mat at your own level. 

 

Throughout your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a variety of yoga styles. Mornings are often dedicated to more energising and dynamic sessions such as Vinyasa and Hatha, helping you awaken the body and build strength and focus for the day ahead. In the evenings, the pace slows down with deeply relaxing practices like gentle stretching, restorative yoga, and meditation – perfect for unwinding after a surf session and soothing both body and mind.

 

Whether you’re here to build strength, increase flexibility, or simply find moments of calm, our classes offer the ideal balance of movement, breath, and relaxation in harmony with your surf lifestyle.

Our open-air yoga shala is nestled beneath swaying palm trees, surrounded by the soothing sounds of birds and nature.

 

All yoga props – including mats, blocks, and straps – are provided, so you can fully immerse yourself in your practice and flow with ease through each session.
